GENERAL

Inquiries are welcomed for all regions including other states and some overseas countries. As well as answering numerous key inquiries, many complete Family Trees have already been researched and are on file. Research officers are not professional but only voluntary workers who are ever ready to advise and help with inquiries. Duty officers are always on hand to help and give direction and assistance with research. Research material is not restricted totally to family history. Our library covers many years of Forbes & district historical statistics and subjects - also those of many other towns and areas. The F. F, H. Group's records and information are much sought after and recognised in both NSW and interstate. The town of Forbes was established in 1861 with a gold population rising in the early years to over 30,000 people.

Visitors are always welcome.
